Will I have to overhaul my swing to become a better golfer?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely not. There are a few of us who work with our clients' current ingrained movement patterns (neuro-kinetic pathways) and only modify what is absolutely necessary for you to be able to play better golf. The old way was the tail wagging the dog...we make sure the dog wags the tail.

Why are in-person lessons better than YouTube?

YouTube hasn't seen you, how you move, or your neurokinetic tendencies. YouTube teachers tell you what to do with the golf club. We will build your swing around your physical abilities and tendencies.

Why can't I just get better going to the range and working in my game?

Accepted Answer

A couple of reasons. Firstly, "Feel isn't Real"...what you think is happening is very rarely what is actually happening in your swing.  A trained eye is critical for improvement. Secondly, we don't like to silly in public, and you can only get better by doing things you cannot currently do well. Learning in a private, safe setting allows is to break through barriers and improve.

Golf is a game of opposites. Physics and geometry play a huge part.
